Carolyn Aguilar Dubose. She is an architect from UNAM with a Medal of Merit and a Master of Arts in Urban Design from Oxford Polytechnic (now Brookes University), England. He has a Diploma in Senior Business Management from IPADE, a Diploma in Financial and Institutional Aspects of Transport Companies from the Institute of Urban Transport of Lyon, France, a Biomimicry Course/Workshop (2007) from the Biomimicry Institute of Montana and the Universidad Iberoamericana, and Diplomas in Sustainable Design and Construction (2010) and Design of Sustainable Communities (2011) also from Ibero. In 2015 she obtained the degree of Doctor in History from the Universidad Iberoamericana.

She has written several articles addressing various sustainability topics. In 2018, the Iberoamerican University awarded her the San Ignacio de Loyola Gold Medal for her 30 years of outstanding teaching. She received the 'Women in Sustainability Leadership Award' (WSLA) by Green Building & Design Review Magazine, she is the first woman dedicated to academia and sustainability education in Mexico to receive this award. In 2012 she was awarded the HERO award from the International Living Future Institute (ILFI) during the “Women Re-shaping the World” Congress for her commitment to education in and promotion of sustainability and accessibility.
