César Silva Márquez

He was born in Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, on July 10, 1974. Poet. He was a member of the INBAa workshop, under the direction of Jorge Humberto Chávez. His texts and translations have appeared in national and foreign magazines. Scholar, on three occasions, of the State Fund for Culture and the Arts of Chihuahua. Binational Prize for Young Novel Border of Words (Border of Words) 2005 for De mis Muertas. San Luis Potosí Fairy Tale Fine Arts Award for Snowmen. José Rubén Romero 2013 Fine Art Novel Prize for The Ballad of the Golden Arches. His work has been included in the anthologies El latent spring, Tierra Adentro, 2003; Tree of varied light, University of Colima, 2002; Generation of 2000, Tierra Adentro, 2001; and the collective book The silence of what falls, UNAM, El Ala del Tigre, 2000.
