Charo Crego Castaño studied philosophy at the Autonomous University of Madrid and did postgraduate studies in Theory of Art and Aesthetics at the Sorbonne University IV and L'École des Hautes Études in Paris. In 1990 he obtained a doctorate from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. She is an IES philosophy teacher on leave. At present, he translates and publishes in magazines specialized in art and aesthetics. Among his publications are the Spanish editions of two texts by Theo Van Doesburg and J.J.P. Oud: The mirror of order (1997) and Geography of a peninsula (2004).
