Christian Schünemann

Christian Schünemann (Bremen, 1968) studied Slavistics in Berlin and Saint Petersburg, worked in Moscow and Bosnia-Herzegovina and graduated from the Evangelische Journalistenschule in Berlin. He received the 2001 Helmut Stegmann Prize for a report of his published in the Süddeutsche Zeitung. In the
International Young Authors Competition, the Open Mike, in 2002, was awarded an extract from the novel The first case of the hairdresser. He lives in Berlin.
