Clara Eugenia Núñez, Ph.D. in History (New York University) and Doctor in Economics (UAH), she is Professor of Economic History at the UNED (Accredited Professor, 2010). She has been General Director of Universities and Research of the Community of Madrid, experience reflected in her latest book University and Science in Spain, Keys to a failure and ways of solution (Gadir, 2013). He has been Visiting Scholar in Chicago, Harvard, Columbia, and the Maison de Sciences de L’Homme (Paris). Among other recent publications, The Development of Contemporary Spain stands out (Alliance, 2011), with Gabriel Tortella.
