Daisy Hirst was born in London and studied English and Creative Writing in Warwick, England. She has an MA in Children's Book Illustration from Cambridge College School of Art. She currently works as an independent designer on different projects in her country. Her first book, The Girl with the Parrot on her Head, has been translated into French and German. Alfonso, that is not done! It is her first book published in Spanish.
