David Arroyo Guardeño

Higher Telecommunications Engineer from the University of Seville (2002) and PhD from the Polytechnic University of Madrid (2009). He began his research activity in 2005 in the Cryptology and Information Security Group of the Higher Council for Scientific Research (CSIC). After a postdoctoral period at the CSIC Institute of Acoustics, he was a professor at the Higher Polytechnic School of the Autonomous University of Madrid from 2011 to 2018. From July 2018 he is a tenured scientist at the Institute of Physical and Information Technologies of the CSIC. His research activity is focused on the analysis, design and evaluation of systems for the protection of information security and privacy. He is a frequent author of research articles in international journals submitted to peer review and included in the Web of Knowledge reference index. As part of the dissemination of his research activity, David Arroyo is the co-author of four book chapters and has participated in multiple national and international conferences related to information security and the applied theory of systems dynamics. He is a regular teacher of training activities in technologies for the protection of information, the collection and treatment of digital evidence. As a representative of the CSIC, he participates in the committees CTN 320 (Cybersecurity and Protection of Personal Data) and CTN 71 / SC 307 (Blockchain and Distributed Registry Technologies) of UNE (Spanish Association for Standardization).
