Master of Philosophy from the National Autonomous University of Mexico and Doctor of Philosophy from the New School for Social Research. His interests revolve around modern and contemporary political philosophy, and in particular in the philosophy of ordinary language, pragmatism and the theory of radical democracy. He has worked on the concept of practical improvisation as a category for rethinking democratic agency. He is currently a member of the Department of Political Studies at the University of Guadalajara.
