David Markson (Albany, 1927 - New York, 2010) is the author of a work that is difficult to classify, whose literary reputation was consolidated especially in the last years of his life and even posthumously, to the point of declaring in an interview: «One of my friends warned me of the risk of becoming famous for being so unknown.
