David Stubbs

He is a journalist born in 1962 in London. A close friend of Simon Reynolds, he joined Melody Maker magazine in 1986 where he remained until 1998. Combined with his more serious writing, he devoted himself to the "Talk Talk Talk" humor segment in which his character "Mr. Agreeable ", with a mordant and surreal tone, commented in the midst of insults of all kinds the world of rock and the figures that starred him. He has also written for magazines such as Vox, NME, The Wire, Uncut, Spin, The Guardian, and for sports magazines Goal and When Saturday Comes. Currently contributing to the satirical web The Daily Mash. His first book was about the former football player, Charlie Nicholas. He also wrote about Jimi Hendrix, Eminem, the record label Ace Records, a TV show called "Tomorrow's World", among many other topics.
