Edmundo Paz-Soldán (Cochabamba, Bolivia, 1967) is a writer, professor of Latin American literature at Cornell University and columnist in media such as the country, The New York Times or Time. He became one of the most representative authors of the Latin American generation of the 90s known as Mcondo thanks to the success of paper days, his first novel, with which he won the Erich Gutteen Award. His works have been translated into eight languages and has received as prestigious awards as Juan Rulfo de Tale (1997) or novel nations of Bolivia (2002).
