Edward Morgan Forster (known as E. M. Forster) (London, January 1, 1879 - Coventry, June 7, 1970) was a British novelist, essayist and librettist, belonging to the Bloomsbury Group and noted for his work in the Edwardian era. His works deal with class differences and the hypocrisy of society in general.
