Emilio Bueso

Emilio Bueso was born in Castellón in 1974 and is a systems engineer. His career as an author begins in dirty realism to delve into the fantastic narrative, where he has established himself as one of the most relevant and innovative voices of a genre that is so difficult and demanding. He has published the novels Noche Cerrada (Verbigracia, 2007), Diástole (Salto de Página, 2011) and the controversial Cenital (Salto de Página, 2012), consecutively obtaining the Celsius Prize with the last two titles. After flirting with criminal literature and the western in This night the sky will burn (Salto de Página, 2013), she is inspired by the work of H.P. Lovecraft for his fifth novel, Strange Eons (Valdemar, 2014).
