Enrique Andres Ruiz was born in Soria, on August 5, 1961.
He is the author of several books of poetry, some of whose titles (WORTH MORE 1994; THE KINGDOM, 1997) have been published by the Editorial Pre-Texts. Among them SING THE BLUES (Nettle, 1997) has a long poem dedicated precisely to painting, or recently appeared EVENING STAR (Mainel Foundation, 2000). As an essayist, published THE MEMORABLE VISION (Renaissance, 1995). He is the author of the publication and study of the COMPLETE POETRY July Garcés (Anthropos, 1992).
He has directed several exhibitions and lectured on art and literature at various universities and institutions; and collaborated with essays and articles to disclose varied artistic matters, as well as the work of a great number of contemporary Spanish artists.
