Enrique Krauze (Mexico City, September 16, 1947) is a writer, intellectual, essayist, historian, biographer, critic, editor, engineer, cultural entrepreneur, director of the Editorial Clio and cultural magazine Letras Libres, a member of the Mexican Academy of History and the National College. He has written more than twenty books, among them leaders Century, Biography of power, the imperial presidency, the presence of the past and Redeemers. He has produced over 300 programs and documentaries on the history of Mexico.
