Ernesto Hernández Busto

Ernesto Hernández Busto (Havana, Cuba, 1968). He began university studies of Mathematics in Russia and returned to Cuba to study Literature. In 1991 he emigrated to Mexico, where he collaborated in the magazine Vuelta and other literary publications. In 1996 and 1998 he won the scholarship Fonca translation. He joined the editorial board of the magazine Poetry and Poetics. Since 1999 he lives in Barcelona, where he works as editor, translator and journalist. His book profiles rights.
Physiognomy of the reactionary writer obtained in 2004 the Third Prize of Test House America. He has translated books of Eugenio Montale, Andrea Zanzotto, Valerio Magrelli, João Cabral de Melo Neto ... His translations of poetry are contained in Booklet translations (Spring and Summer) (Lorem Ipsum, 2015). His most recent work is the natural route (Broken Glass, 2015). Regular contributor to the magazine Letras Libres and the newspaper El Pais.
