A Doctor of Science and Letters from the Sorbonne, he is president of the Budapest Club, founder and director of the Research Group on General Evolution, a member of the Club of Rome, rector of the Frankfurt Academy for Evolutionary Management and Advanced Studies, and advisor to the Director General of UNESCO.
Twice nominated for the Nobel Prize, he has written a multitude of works, several of which have been published by Kairós.
