Eugen Fink

Eugen Fink

Eugen Fink (1905-1975) is one of the most prominent representatives of German philosophy in the second half of the twentieth century. A disciple of Edmund Husserl and Martin Heidegger, worked with the first from 1929, following the submission of his doctoral thesis. After the Second World War he was appointed Professor of Philosophy at the University of Freiburg, where he served until 1971, year of retirement.
