Eva Fernández del Campo

Professor of Asian Art and Contemporary Art in the Department of Art History III (Contemporary), Faculty of Geography and History, Complutense University of Madrid. She specialized in art from India, a country where she was doing research for three years thanks to several grants from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Indian Council for Cultural Relations, Complutense University of Madrid and UNESCO. His publications on Asian art and contemporary Western art include "The Ajanta Paintings. Indian Theater of Nature" (2007), a monograph on Anish Kapoor (2006), "Dictionary of Universal Mythology" (2000) as well as the collaborations in works such as "Asia" (Barcelona, ​​Ocean, 1996) and "The tree of life. Nature in the art and traditions of India" (ed. by Chantal Maillard in Barcelona, ​​Kairós, 2001), or the translation of Coomaraswamy's book "La danza de Siva" (Madrid, Siruela, 1996 and 2006). She currently works on transculturality, hybridization and miscegenation in contemporary art from the East and West, and directs the project of the R + D + I plan «Transculturality, miscegenation and globalization in the art of the Contemporary Era. East West".
