Fang Fang

Fang Fang (Chinese: 方方 ) is the pseudonym of Wang Fang (汪芳; born May 11, 1955), a Chinese writer who won the Lu Xun Literary Prize in 2010. She was born in Nanjing, in the province of Jiangsu. She studied Chinese at Wuhan University in 1978. In 1975, she started writing poetry and in 1982, she released her first novel Da Peng Che Shang (大篷车上). In 1987, she published her masterpiece "Feng Jing" (风景), and she won the novel prize during the years 1987-1988. His other works, including Qin Duan Kou (琴断口), and Xing Yun Liu Shui (行云流水), "Jiang Na Yi An" (江那一岸), "Yi Chang San Tan" (一唱三叹), have been well received too. Since then she cares a lot about poverty in China, many of her works reflect genuine lives.
