Mexican essayist, critic and editor. Bachelor of Literature from the Universidad Autónoma de Ciudad Juárez uacj, Master in Spanish from the New Mexico State University nmsu. PhD from Arizona State University asu. Author of three books. He has published in magazines in Mexico and the United States of America such as Horizontal, Critical, Side B, Picnic and Tierra Adentro. Along with Bernardo Xáuregui, he runs the indie publishing house Bagatela Press, located in the border city of El Paso, Texas.
