Francisco Vicente Galán Vélez holds a PhD in Philosophy from the Universidad Iberoamericana. Since 1984, he has worked as a full-time research professor in the Philosophy Department of the Universidad Iberoamericana where, for eight years, he has served as Director of the Department and, for five years, as Director General of the University Environment. Member of the National System of Researchers level I has focused his studies on the projects on "Epistemology", "Metaphysics", "Philosophy of the Game", "Bernard Lonergan" and, currently, in the project on "The first philosophy as meta-methodology " Among his publications we can mention book chapters such as "Humanism and education: a proposal for universities" in From the bowels of the University: Seminar University without condition and "What is to do metaphysics according to Lonergan Insight?"
