Rodolfo Gamiño Muñoz. Graduated in History from the University of Guadalajara, he has a master's degree in Political Sociology from the Mora Institute and a Doctor in Anthropology from CIESAS-DF. He has a Postdoctorate in History from El Colegio de Michoacán. Member of the National System of Researchers (SNI) Level I.

The research topics he covers are Political and social history of Mexico, second half of the 20th and 21st centuries. State, armed movements, militarization and political violence. Forced disappearance, politics of memory and oblivion.
