Gérard Badou, born in 1935, studied philosophy and literary studies of psychology and later became a journalist. He was director of Le Quotidien du Medecin and editor of L'Express. He has published scientific works as Le corps défendu: quand la médecine dépasse them terminals (Lattes, 1994) or secrètes Histoires of psychoanalysis (Albin Michel, 1997) and several biographies, among which is, Madame Freud (Payot, 2006 ).
