Gergana Petrova holds a PhD in Philosophy from the University of Guanajuato. She has published articles and books on critical cultural theory. Among her most recent publications are *The Contest of Education II*, *Critique and Identity*, and *Constellations and Force Fields in Contemporary Critical Theory*. She is currently a member of the National System of Researchers (SNI) of the National Council of Science and Technology (Conacyt) and treasurer of the Mexican Philosophical Association.
