
Giampietro Gobo is Professor of Social Research Methodology and teaches Sociology of Science at the University of Milan. He also addresses scientific controversies on public health issues (pediatric vaccines, early anti-COVID therapies, etc.), on which he has published several articles. His books include: Qualitative Research Practice (Sage 2004, edited with C. Seale, J.F. Gubrium, and D. Silverman); Doing Ethnography (Sage 2008); Collecting Survey Data: An Interactional Approach (Sage 2014, with Sergio Mauceri); and Merged Methods: From Mixed to Fully Integrated Methods (Sage 2021, with N. Fielding, G. La Rocca, and W. van der Vaart).
