Glenn Herbert Gould, better known by the name of Glenn Gould (Toronto, Canada, September 25, 1932-October 4, 1982), was a Canadian pianist, especially recognized as an interpreter of keyboard work by Johann Sebastian Bach, as well as of the pianistic works of Arnold Schönberg.
