Hyginus Pedreño Marín (1965) is Professor of Philosophical Anthropology at the University CEU-Cardenal Herrera (Valencia, Elche) and author of The Aristotelian anthropology and philosophy of culture (1993), From Public Domain. Tests of social theory and the Man (1997) and The Invention of the Human. The socio-historical genesis of the individual (2nd ed., 2007). He has coordinated joint works as Sexuality in Contemporary Thought (2000) and Nation and Freedom (2005), and participated as an author of works in many group specialized studies.
