Homi K. Bhabha

Born in Bombay in 1949, is one of the most recognized in the field of postcolonial theory theorists. He studied at the University of Bombay and at Christ Church College, Oxford. He has held teaching and research at several universities, including Princeton, Pennsylvania, Dartmouth College, Chicago, University College London, to Harvard, where he is now Professor Anne F. Rothenberg of English and American literature. Their interventions beyond academia and also circulate in artistic spaces, cultural projects in general and in institutions like the World Economic Forum and UNESCO. In 2012, the Indian government awarded him the Padma Bhushan Award in Literature and Education.
