Hugo Rahner (1900-1968), German Jesuit priest in exile in Switzerland, received his doctorate in Theology and History and was professor of Church History, Patrology and History of Dogma at the University of Innsbruck. His scientific-theological work different areas: along with his brother Karl Rahner and other theologians is co-founder of a theology of the announcement (kerygma theology) also include studying meritorious and the resulting publications devoted to patristic spirituality, humanism, as well as ancient pagan and Christian symbolism, which culminated in the preparation of this work.
