Master in Economics from the Economic Studies Center of El Colegio de México. Degree in Economics from the Autonomous Metropolitan University, Plantel Iztapalapa. He has served as a research professor at the Tecnológico de Monterrey, Mexico City and Mexico State campus and at the Autonomous Metropolitan University, Iztapalapa Campus and Azcapotzalco. He has been an official in the National Council of Science and Technology and in the Secretary of Commerce and Industrial Development. His research area revolves around industrial innovation, technological change, competitiveness and the knowledge economy.
