James Hollis holds a Ph.D. from Drew University and a BA from Manchester College. He has taught humanities for twenty-six years at various universities before training in Jungian analysis at the Jung Institute in Zurich, Switzerland, where he received a degree in analytical psychology. He is executive director of the Jung Educational Center in Houston.
