Javier Peña Echevarría (San Sebastián, 1951) is Professor of Moral Philosophy of the University of Valladolid. His main lines of research are the history of modern political thought, citizenship, republicanism and cosmopolitanism, subjects on which he has published several books, articles and contributions to collective works.
