Joaquin Guerrero Casasola

Joaquín Guerrero Casasola y Gómez (Mexico, D. F., 1962) Doctor of Literature, writer and TV screenwriter, son of the Spanish mother and Mexican father. Doctorate from the University of Salamanca. He graduated from the Communication Sciences career from the Autonomous Metropolitan University (1982-1986). His degree thesis obtained the 2nd. National Communication Thesis Award (1986) granted by Coneicc. [[. He is also a mastery in fiction script for TV and cinema from the Pontifical University of Salamanca (Spain, 2006) and candidate for doctor of Latin American literature. In 2006 he was a scholarship by the Nobel Prize Gabriel García Márquez to participate in the mythical script workshop that Gabo teaches annually at the International School of Film and Television in San Antonio de los Baños, Cuba. On that occasion, the workshop was also taught by the Spanish filmmaker Fernando León de Aranoa. He currently conducts doctoral studies in literature at the University of Salamanca, scholarship by the Mexican government through the scholarship program for abroad studies that sponsor Fonca / Conacyt. Likewise, he is a full -time professor of the Bachelor of Literary Creation, of the Autonomous University of Mexico City, (UACM). His novels have been translated into German, Italian and French.
