John Banville

John Banville was born in Wexford, Ireland, in 1945. In addition to the titles published in Anagrama, he is the author of the novels "Copernicus" and "Kepler" (Edhasa), "Mephisto" and "The Letter of Newton" (Peninsula). He has won numerous awards, including the James Tait Black Memorial Prize, the Guardian Fiction Prize and the Guiness Peat Aviation Award. According to the great literary critic George Steiner, "John Banville is the most intelligent English-language writer, the most elegant stylist." Prince of Asturias Award for Letters 2014.
