John Lydon

John Lydon

John Lydon - (London, 1956) is one of the most controversial characters in the world of rock. He was the vocalist of the Sex Pistols, band representing the punk current more nihilist that marked a huge influence in the history of music. In 1978 the Pistols separated and Lydon founded PiL (Public image Limited), a group that did not limit itself to recreating the successes of the first punk. Lydon has written two books: Rotten: No Irish, No Blacks, No Dogs, His Autobiography, and This Anger is Energy, the first volume of his memoirs that, as he himself proclaims, have not gone through any kind of censorship.
