José Antonio Blanco

José Antonio Blanco

Perroantonio is the furious version of José Antonio Blanco (Baracaldo, 1961), also known as Josean Blanco. A short but intense poet, he has published two books of poetry highly appreciated by his thirty-seven readers. After receiving frequent compliments for books written by others, he fell into melancholy and chose to abandon poetry and limit himself to incorporating the successes of others into the curriculum. This strategy has improved his prestige, but little, and has not prevented him from having to earn a living as a carpenter's helper, office worker, teacher, translator, journalist, cultural agitator, government plumber, and ahem! black.
