José Arregi Olaizola (Azpeitia, Gipuzkoa, 1952) a doctorate in theology from the Catholic Institute of Paris. He taught at the Seminary of Pamplona and the Faculty of Theology in Vitoria and Deusto until 2010, when it withdrew the canonical license and was forced to leave the Franciscan Order and the priesthood. He currently teaches at the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities of the University of Deusto. He is the author of several books in Basque and Castilian.
