Jose Granados was born in Madrid in 1970. After receiving the title of senior engineer (ICAI, Madrid), he studied philosophy and theology at the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome, where he received his doctorate in theology with a thesis entitled The mysteries of Christ's life in Justin Martyr (2004), worthy of Bellarmine Award. It belongs to the Religious Institute Disciples of the Hearts of Jesus and Mary.
He has been professor of dogmatic theology at the Catholic University of America (Washington DC). Currently he teaches at the Pontifical John Paul II Institute for Studies on Marriage and Family (Rome), which also is vice president. Also he works as a guest professor of dogmatic theology at the Pontifical Gregorian University.
His publications include: Theology of the mysteries of the life of Jesus, 2009; and theology of the flesh: the body in the history of salvation, 2011.
