José Jiménez Lozano

Born in 1930 in Langa (Ávila). As a writer has tackled almost every genre, being awarded the Critics Prize with "The grain of red corn" (1989).
The test has written "The Spanish civil cemeteries and heterodoxy" (1978), "On Jews, Moors and converts" (1982), "spiritual guide Castilla" (1984) and "The eyes of the icon" (1988).
As a novelist is the author of "History of a Fall" (1971), "Duel in the Big House" (1982), "Sara de Ur" (1989), "The mudejarillo" (1992), "The Wedding of Angela '(1993), "Pythagorean Theorem" (1995), "silver sandals" (1996), "night Watch" (1998), "the Ladies" (1999) and "A man on the line" (2000).
He has also written poetry: "Time Eurydice" (1996) and "Birds" (1992); daily: "Second Alphabet" (1992) and "candlelight" (1996); narratives: "The Great Stories" (1991), "A finger on his lips" (1996) and "The Saint of May" (1976), and the conversation with Gurutze Galparsoro "A Dutch stay '(1998).
Besides the award mentioned, has also received the National Prize for Spanish Literature (1992), the Gold Medal of Merit in Fine Arts (1999) and is a trustee of the Student Residence.
