
José María Faraldo. Born in 1968, he is a professor at the Complutense University of Madrid and has been a professor at the Viadrina European University in Frankfurt on the Oder. He was also a project manager at the Center for Contemporary History in Potsdam, Germany. He has been a visiting researcher in Bucharest, Warsaw, Leipzig, Paris, Berlin, Bogotá, and Stanford. Specialist in history of Eastern Europe, the last books of him are: The clandestine Europe. Resistance against the Nazi and Stalinist occupations (1938-1948); The Russian Revolution: History and Memory and The Networks of Terror. Communist secret police and their legacy (Galaxia Gutenberg, 2018).
