Degree in Law and Master in Human Rights from the Universidad Iberoamericana, Mexico City. He worked from 2002 to 2007 in the Human Rights Program of the Universidad Iberoamericana Ciudad de México, which he coordinated the last two years. He was a 2008-2009 Hubert H. Humphrey Fellow (fulbright scholar) at the University of Minnesota Center for Human Rights. He was in charge of the Executive Directorate of Applied Research of the Human Rights Commission of the Federal District, Director General in the Office of the Assistant Attorney for Human Rights, Crime Prevention and Community Services in the Office of the Attorney General of the Republic, Director of Public Policies and Rights Human Rights in the Unit for the Promotion and Defense of Human Rights of the Ministry of the Interior, Coordinator of the Defense and Human Rights Area of the Mexican Center for Environmental Law, Legal Officer of the Chosen Reproduction Information Group, and Pedagogical Advisor in the Faculty Latin American Social Sciences. He has been a consultant for various institutions, including the Office in Mexico of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, the United Nations Development Program-Mexico, the State of Law Program for Latin America of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation, the Memory and Tolerance Museum and the Latin American Faculty of Social Sciences-Mexico. He has participated in forums, seminars and conferences in Mexico and abroad and has various publications related to human rights. He is currently an academic in the department of law at the Universidad Iberoamericana, and a Doctor of Law Candidate from American University.
