
Juan Pablo Roncone (Arica, 1982) is a Chilean writer and lawyer.
Roncone was born in Arica, in northern Chile, in 1982. In the early 2000s, he moved to the capital, Santiago, to study law. As an author, he gained recognition with his short story collection, Hermano Cedar. His work has been translated into English and included in anthologies. In 2017, he was included in the Bogotá39 list, a selection of the best Latin American writers under the age of 39.
