Judd Winick

Judd Winick was born in Long Island (New York) on February 12, 1970. He began his career as a cartoonist at the age of 16 with the Nuts & Bolts strip, published in a local weekly. In 1995 he relaunched his career with a new strip Frumpy the Clown, which is published in more than 30 newspapers. He has also worked as a cartoon producer and written numerous screenplays for such popular series as X-Men, Batman, Superman, Green Lantern and Green Arrow, among others. Pedro and I, the story of his friendship with his roommate on the reality show The Real World, was published in September 2000 and won six awards from the American Library Association, in addition to receiving praise from creators such as Frank Miller and Neil Gaiman . Currently, he lives in San Francisco with his ex-partner of The Real World Pam Ling and their son.
