Jurjo Torres Santome

Jurjo Santomé Torres is Professor of University Teaching and Educational Organisation at the University of A Coruña. Before he taught at the Universities of Salamanca and Santiago de Compostela and visiting professor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction and Educational Policy Studies. Also often teaches courses and seminars in numerous national, European and Latin American universities.
His main research areas are: socio-political analysis of the curriculum, education policy, integrated curriculum, anti-discrimination curriculum, multiculturalism, teacher training.
His publications include: The hidden curriculum (1991); A Educação Infantil (1991); Globalization and interdisciplinarity: The integrated curriculum (1994); A curriculum optimistic fatalism forgetfulness fronte to eo (2001); Education in times of neoliberalism (2001); as well as numerous works in other collective publications.
