Katsuki Sekida

Katsuki Sekida (1893 - 1987) taught in Kyoto, Mishima, Kochi, Honolulu and London. He dedicated his entire life to Zen, becoming one of the most important teachers of this philosophy. His vision of teaching Zen is based on a scientific and physiological vision of zazen, the exercise in which the student learns to control the body and mind.
