Kosho Uchiyama

Kosho Uchiyama

Kôshô Uchiyama (1912-1998) was one of the most eminent Zen masters. In 1937 he was awarded a master's degree in Western philosophy at Waseda University and was ordained a Zen monk from Kôdô Sawaki three years later. After Sawaki's death in 1965, he assumed the position of abbot of Antaiji, a monastery and temple located near Kyoto. This is the first of the twenty books he wrote to be published in Spanish.
