Laird Hunt

Laird Hunt is the author of six novels and a storybook. In addition to the United States, Spain and Latin America, his works have been published in France, Japan, Italy, Germany and Turkey. Articles, reviews and translations of him have appeared in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, McSweeney’s, The Believer, Ploughshares, Bomb, Bookforum and Grand Street, among other publications. He has worked as a press advisor at the United Nations and is currently a professor of the creative writing program at the University of Denver, where he also publishes the Denver Quarterly. His previous novel, The Benevolent (Blackie Books, 2013), was a finalist of the PEN / Faulkner Fiction Award and winner of the Anisfield-Wolf Book Award. Neverhome (She was stronger) has been praised by the best American critics, and will be adapted to the cinema soon.
