Leonardo López Luján

Leonardo Náuhmitl López Luján (Mexico City, March 31, 1964) is a prominent Mexican archaeologist, currently one of the leading researchers in the pre-Hispanic societies of Central Mexico and in the history of that country's archeology. He is director of the Templo Mayor Project of the National Institute of Anthropology and History (INAH) since 1991 and son of the renowned historian Alfredo López Austin. He is a member of The National College and the British Academy.
