Lucile De Peslouan

Lucile de Pesloüan is an author and editor in Montreal. It was under the name Shushanna Bikini London that she started publishing her texts in the form of fanzines in 2012. Finalist twice for the Expozine Prize for her fanzines The stories of Shushanna Bikini London, in 2012 and in 2014, she won a 2018 Literary Academy Award for his fanzine What I Know About Me. His texts are intimate, direct, poetic and engaged.

Her feminist manifesto Why do girls have a stomach ache? illustrated by Geneviève Darling, published by Isatis in 2017, is also published in France, English Canada, the United States, Korea, Spain and South America. The book received the 2018 Espiègle Prize - Secondary School Libraries (12 to 17 years old). In 2018, he was also on the preliminary list for the Prix des Libraires du Québec, was a finalist for the Prix du livre jeunesse des Bibliothèques de Montréal, and the Prix Alvine-Bélisle. She has also published The Stories of Shushanna Bikini London, with Editions Rodrigol (2018) and Jai mal et Yet, It Does Not Show… with Isatis (finalist for the 2018 Mischievous Prize).

Writer in residence for the magazine Moebius, she also writes for the magazine Curium, and the zine Les Panthères Rouges.
